E12 DIY new products are on the market (delivery will be arranged to the scheduled users on the 15th of this month)

Project Background:

FiiO's E12 flagship portable earpiece has been welcomed by the market after its launch. But there are also some consumers who want to try more sounds with different timbres. Because the company is currently unable to provide personalized customized services, and it is difficult for different operational amplifier combinations to let consumers find their favorite timbre through objective sound description. In order to give back to these old users and add fun to playing with the machine, the company specially invested in developing a DIY version based on E12. It is hoped that through such a platform with higher playability, consumers will be provided with more choices.

1. It has certain hands-on ability. We do not recommend ordinary users to purchase the machine to avoid burning the machine due to the need for better operational amplifier according to the instructions;

2. The old users of FiiO have a better understanding of FiiO's products and services and have sufficient trust. As the high-quality audio op amp used in DIY version is completely out of stock and the purchase unit price is high, we only place an order to purchase the fever op amp after the customer needs to pay the full amount, and finally produce and deliver the goods. This time period is relatively long, and we cannot fully promise the delivery date of the final product. We worry that consumers who have not bought our products will have no patience or go back on their word because they lack sufficient understanding.

3. Willing to accept the terms of no after-sales service: Since DIY version users can open the cabinet and replace the op amp, we cannot judge whether the problem of the machine is caused by the user or the quality of the machine. In order to avoid unpredictable losses, we will seal the fixing screws before leaving the factory. As long as we disassemble them, we will not provide any after-sales service.

E12DIY version:

1. It not only retains the excellent and fine workmanship of the E12 commercial version, but also can obtain more different timbres and fun of playing machines through different operational amplifier combinations;

2. The bass promotion and Crossfeed functions are canceled, and the internal layout and wiring have more space and performance are greatly improved;

3. We retain the excellent high-voltage power supply circuit of E12, which enables us to give full play to the excellent performance of high-quality audio op amps;

4. Various protection circuits of E12 and USB intelligent fast charging function are retained. Generally DIY earphones, enthusiasts lack this aspect of design and consideration. There is no condition to use single chip microcomputer to realize these functions like us.
